In this section we propose an overall workflow with related metadata to track all phases of digital product creation, both to enable data provenance and also to be used to validate the success of the operations from an analytic and production perspective. This approach aims to support the users in defining procedures over the long term for different types of analysis, based on the features and scope required for the digital product by the end user.

The ontology refers to the set of phenomena that are typically catalogues in the intangible heritage framework. It is developed around the concept of social action developed by Searle (the construction of social reality) as well as by Tuomela (The philosophy of social practice). On the base of the theoretical stance of the two authors, as well as from the ontological analysis carried out in Carboni & De Luca on the social and material components of the intangible heritage several entities and relationships are here formalised. The goal of this extension is to enable the description of the documents regarding the so-called intangible heritage.
